ads4musicians.com is dedicated to bringing musicians together in the UK!
For people searching or browsing:
- Anyone can use ads4musicians.com to search and respond to Ads feely without registering.
- Search by categories "Musician Available", "Musicians Wanted" or "Tuition".
Select a keyword, instrument, playing style and your postcode area to search.
The search results returned are sorted by the distance from the postcode area you enter.
- To Browse, first select a category from "Musician Available", "Musicians Wanted" or "Tuition". Next select an Instrument. Finally, select a playing style to refine the results.
For people publishing Ads:
- You will need to register first. Registration is free and quick. (Only a username, e-mail address and password are required to register)
- Ads can be prepared and managed using your account once you have registered. There is no limit to how many ads you can create.
- When your Ad is ready, you can publish the Ad. Once the Ad is published it will appear in the search and browse results of website.
- You can also save a profile about yourself, which is linked from each Ad that you publish. (This is optional). You can save a separate Musician and Tutor profile.

What are the benefits of registering?

Is my e-mail address revealed on ads4musicians.com?
- No. Your e-mail address is kept secret on this website.
When someone responds to your Ad, an e-mail is sent to you from ads4musicians.com. If you reply to the this e-mail you will make contact with the person interested in your Ad and your e-mail address will be revealed only then (like any other e-mail you would send).
Also, your e-mail address is not used for any other purpose or passed on to third parties by ads4musicians.com. (See the privacy policy)
How do I prepare an Ad?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Ads".
- Select link to create an Ad.
- Complete the form for Ad and click on the "Create Ad »" button.
Please remember to enter your postcode area, as the search will automatically sort search results by distance to this postcode area.
- After creating your Ad, you have the option to publish your Ad straight away. Just select the "Publish this Ad" link.
How do I update an Ad?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Ads".
- Select the "Update" option for Ad.
- Update the form for Ad and click on the "Save Ad »" button.
How do I stop the Ad appearing in the Search?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Ads".
- Select the "Stop Publish" option for Ad.
Note: The Ad will be removed from the ads4musicians.com search results but will still appear in your account until you delete it, or publish again.
How do I delete an Ad?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Ads".
- Select the "Delete" option for Ad.
Note: The Ad will be permanently removed from the ads4musicians.com website.
How do I extend the Ad publish date?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Ads".
- Select the "Extend Publish" option for Ad. This will take you to the extend publish form.
- Select how many weeks you would like to extend the publish Ad for.
- Select the "Publish Ad »" button and your Ad will be published immediately.
What does each Ad status mean?
- Not Published
Ad is prepared but not published yet, or publish has been stopped.
(Ad does not appear in the ads4musicians search)
- Published
Ad is published and appears in the ads4musicians search.
- Expired
Ad has expired because the 'Publish Finish' date has passed.
(Ad does not appear in the ads4musicians search)
How do I add my profile?
- Sign In to Website. (Register first, if you haven't already done so)
- Select "My Profile(s)".
- Select link to create a Musician or Tutor profile.
- Complete the form for profile and click on the "Create Profile »" button.
Once created, the profile will be linked from each Ad that you publish.
- Musician profiles will be linked from "Musician Available" and "Musician Wanted" Ads.
- Tutor profiles will be linked from "Tuition" Ads.
